Personality: Viktor Krum, although rather surly to many, always appeared kind to that of Hermione Granger, whom soon became his girlfriend after the flight of Ron. He only presents kindness to those who grace his presence with respect, and whom generally abide by his every will. He is overall quite neutral in the question of support between the order and the death eaters, but supports Hermione in everything she does.
Viktor can be rather cold and heartless at times, although his irregular apathy overwhelms most of his decisions. He is unable to contain a smile unless it happens to be something he himself enjoys, or for that matter someone of importance, such as Hermione, enjoys herself.
History: Viktor Krum was born during the year of 1977, to Mr. and Mrs. Krum, one of which whose fathers had been attacked by Grindelwald. He gained many features from his parents, such as his hook-like nose(from his father), and his dark hair(from his mother). He developed an interest in quidditch at an early age, eventually working his way into playing professionally, all the while enrolled into the academy of durmstrang.
Viktor took part in the triwizard tournament at Hogwarts, not doing nearly as well as he had hoped, but still congratulatory towards Harry when he took home the prize. His interests in that of Hermione Granger increased, and although she did not accept his offer, invited her to spend a summer with him the following year.
After leaving Hogwarts and Durmstrang, Viktor continued to pursue his quidditch career, becoming more and more improved in his skills, and therefore his popularity and support as an international quidditch player. His heart, however, lied with that of Hermione Granger, who at long last returned to his side, and the two became official.

Ron made it a point to keep the smile upon his face, but ended up failing miserably by the time Hermione was through speaking. Dumbledorewas gone, and naturally he had taken a bit of Harry with him. His best friends hated to see Harry the way he was, but Ron had to keep telling himself it was a phase, and that eventually he would wake up and realize that the only two people that he ever truely needed had been right beside him, all along. It was a bit nerve-racking at times, but Ron knew it was for the best that he pushed on, if not for Harry, then for his self preservation which somehow abound him by his friends' side.
"I get a bit nervous at times, I suppose.." Ron stated, running a hand through his messy hair, "But it'll all work out in the end." He had also had the exact same thoughts cross his mind as well, about Voldemort, and if he were to win against Harry.. But they had to accept that either could happen, and Ron knew that all they could possibly do at the moment was usher Harry through all the current turmoil and stand by his side until the end. "I've always supposed it could be, Hermione.. But i have faith in Harry." He reached over and graced her hand with his before putting it back into his lap, "And besides, we've got the 'brightest witch of her age' on our side." Ron smiled gently, hoping with a strong might that it would soothe her nerves for her to know that he believed in her, now more than ever.
Ron's eyes wandered down to his hands, now slightly gripping his jeans. "In my mind, I guess I've always believed Voldemort never stood a chance, between all of us working together.. And although I believed Dumbledore would always be there to help us, I think we'll make it through." A nervous smile graced his lips, and although Ron wished he could replace it with one that was sure of what he was speaking of, the confidence he had wished for just wouldn't seem to arise within him. It was just in his nature to be unsure of things, and it was appearing now more than ever before. Soon they(or moreso, harry) would face Voldemort, and only one would survive. The entire wizarding world had been debating over it for a while, if not in secret, and their gossiping only led the death eaters closer to what was up the golden trio's sleeves.
Ron nodded, more to himself than anything, and attempted at another smile. His eyes wandered back over the pitch, and secretly wondered if he had wandered out here on mere purpose, possibly knowing fully well Hermione would have been there. He shoved the thought away, knowing fully well he was just buttering himself up for something that was quite nearly impossible for him to do. After all, since when had Hermione Granger wandered into the quidditch pitch for relaxation? Ron attempted to think of other things, but somehow his mind always shifted back to the horcruxes. "I have a feeling that this will test our friendship with Harry, more than ever." he said, his eyes centered upon his hands. "With the horcruxes and everything, I mean...I mean, it's not going to be easy." His eyebrows furrowed, his mind straining to find the exact words he wanted to say. "I just mean, its not just going to be harry that's going to be tested.. I have a feeling it'll be us as well." Ron shook his head, realizing he had failed to use the precise words that he had needed to. Hermione probably would take what he'd said as being somewhat ignorant, since she probably already knew them herself.
