Daphne was in desperate need of company. After settling down in England, she had no contacts except her family, only because she went to find them There was nothing to do at her home and Daph was used to traveling everywhere, that sitting seemed boring. So she decided to start prowling the streets for some prey. Which really meant, she was looking for old faces and friends.During her travels, in the three years she was gone, her transformation into a Vampire witch had a major affect on the way she lived. If it wasn't for Christoph, her sire, then Daph would probably have been dead. During her first month of travels, Daphne was caught up in a mudblood alleyway stabbing, and was left to die, but not before Christoph had bitten her and saved her from death. It seemed that her sire had been following her for days, already keen on turning her into a vampire, but kept denying himself the pleasure of a possible mate. If there was no muggle stabbing, then Daphne would probably have lived as a normal witch all her life. The only downside, was once Daph was turned, Christoph realised that she wasn't the one for him and after teaching the newly turned vampire all the ways of their race, Christoph and Daphne left as close friends. Thus, here she was now thinking about looking for prey to. It didn't take long for Daphne to find one of her favourite outfits which she picked up from a half-blood's shop during her travels, and change into it. With a quick 'pop,' Daph arrived the familiar village of Hogsmeade. It had been three, almost four years since she had stepped foot in Hogsmeade, and Daphne realised she missed it. Walking around, noticing the changes as well as the stares from all the Wizards and Witches around her, Daph realised was standing in front of the Three Broomsticks. Thinking she had nothing to lose, she walked in and ordered firewhiskey, wishing that they had blood or something of that kind. Deep in thought about her training days as a new Vampire, Daph didn't notice someone sitting down next to her, until she looked up. With a small oh, Daph realised it was someone she lusted on during Hogwarts and thanked Merlin that she couldn't blush.

The Three Broomsticks was a comfortable place, the people were typically kind and typically students on their usual trip to Hogsmeade. Today, however, there weren't any students, just a few adults of various ages spotted through the pub with their drinks in front of them, as if firewhiskey was healing all their wounds. Firewhiskey, in his opinion, wasn't too appealing. Alcohol and drugs weren't as thrilling as some other aspects of life.
The reason why the young man had found himself in the pub, wasn't because his opinion on what went on in it had changed in the slightest bit, but more because he was waiting for a friend. A friend, a step-sister, or an enemy who he sometimes wanted to destroy in anyway possible- all of these things were the same thing in his mind, as unhealthy as it was. But his and his sister's relationship hadn't ever been a healthy one. His blue eyes looked down at his watch and he looked toward the entrance of the small and cozy pub, his sudden irritation showing plainly on his face as his jaw clenched, but he kept himself from grinding his teeth. Teeth grinding had always been one of his worst habits, he smiled often, but his teeth were always grinding together in the back of his mouth as he kept down his sarcasm and kept in any blunt statements that would fight to move past his lightly coloured lips and beat their way into the ears of the receiver.
But vinegar didn't catch flies, and insults didn't catch women so he learned to deal with the constant jaw pain. Finally after glancing down at his watch once again, Adrien looked around the rest of the room to try to find something to enjoy himself with instead. If Maria was going to be, well, Maria, and not show.. Then he'd be himself as well and find someone else to occupy his time with. The search didn't take long either, his lightly coloured eyes hadn't had to scan the room, they had only had to glance right next to him and his lips pulled back into a smile. He didn't necessarily recognize the woman as being someone he had thought of in a sexual way back in school, but he did in fact... recognize that she was a woman.

His lips remained turned upwards in a smile, though in his mind he was wondering what exactly she was trying to get at with such a statement. Edible? He looked edible? His eyes glanced over the woman who seemed to know his name and they paused on certain parts of her body. Not the parts that would help to explain the statement of his edibility to him, but instead just the parts that would catch a normal man's eye, and send more than just one type of wicked thoughts into Adrien's dirty blond topped head. It wasn't even that the young woman had changed drastically and was suddenly attractive to him, no, he just sexualized anything on two legs. Poor, chubby, insecure, virginal, trashy, or nearly anything else imaginable made him want to take advantage- though he did normally go after those he could be proud of adding as a notch on his bed post.
"Edible?" He repeated finally, saying it in a tone that suggested surprise and question, but then he corrected his tone to a much smoother one as one of his eyebrows rose at her slowly. The blue eyes that gave a false sense of kindness dropped lower, then back up to her own eyes. "You look rather edible yourself, Daphne." He of course, meant edible in an entirely different sense of the word and an entirely different sense of the verb that went along with it.
The young man's pleasant and almost innocent and youthful look that dispelled most rumors that tried to surface about his behavior remained, but he didn't take the woman's outstretched hand- though he had certainly noticed the offering. "Do I know you from somewhere?" He asked, mostly because she had used his name. A lot of people knew his name and he was sometimes approached by strangers because of it, but those were usually strangers whom he had slighted somehow.

Though the last years at Hogwarts had been horrific for most, the young man hadn't been overly affected by it. The Death Eaters had held a horrible and messy reign, but he had really just stepped back and let everything happen. Walking by a torture based detention or two hadn't affected him, because he didn't hold much sympathy or empathy for most living creatures. He didn't have that basic bond that most people acquired just from being human, and it was a little bit frightening that he could be much more cruel than his Slytherin sister. Luckily, he didn't put his cruel behavior in the form of violence, he displayed it in other forms.
"Right, right. I do suppose that I remember you. You weren't all that fat." His innocent looking smile shifted toward a slightly less innocent one that was bordering on a smirk. He still didn't actually remember her, but he didn't care very much. "And I must admit, I haven't ever been described as edible- but I do think I'll take that as a compliment, and I do enjoy compliments from time to time- especially from someone as... " He glanced over her once more, thinking something much more sexual and perhaps insulting than the word that came to his lips. "..Beautiful, as yourself, Daphne."

The vampire bit made his mind question why he was still talking to her, but he didn't let a reaction show, he just looked toward his empty glass with the same look he had a moment before. The trick to seeming cool, calm, and collected was to fake your reactions to everything. Internally he was surprised at the news, externally it seemed as though they had been discussing the weather.
"Yeah, sure, I could take another drink." He responded, then shifted on the stool. "So.. anyway, about this vampire thing, hm?" The young man asked, feeling the need to ask at least a couple of questions about it. It was really the sort of thing that was probably a big part of her life. Being undead and all, you know. ".... Do you bite?"
