Ginny was rather nervous. harry was coming home. here she was, four years later waiting for him to come home. She knew that he would more than likely stop by her new flat soon but she couldn't wait around all day it was too hot.
So she dressed in a short jean skirrt, a red tube top and made her way to her favorite ice cream shop. she ordered herself whizbee ice cream and sat at one of the tables.

He was back. He was finally back in Englad, back to where he hoped to start a family soon. He had spent 3 years away, traing to become an auror. He had finally succeed and now was an auror. Not an auror in-training but a real auror. He planned to play quidditch though, unknown to everyone but Ron. He would have two jobs which meant more money coming in. Harry would still make sure that there was enough time for his family that he planned to have now that he was back.
Harry didn't know what brought him here to Diagon Alley. He had stopped at the house and dropped all of his stuff off. He instantly had apparated here to Diagon Alley, certain that Ginny would be here. She had left no note directing him here but he could feel it. He had missed her so much while he was gone. He had looked forward to seeing her everyday and couldn't wait. Now he was back and was looking for her. Harry knew she was here but what shop?
He passed by the ice cream store and looked in to see the familar flow of red hair. He smiled, walking up to her table. "Didn't bother to order anything for me?" he smirked, standing behind her. He had been dreaming about this moment since he left. He wished that he didn't have to be gone for so long. But he was back now permanently and didn't plan to leave her again for that long.

Ginny sat there in another one of her day dreams. She missed Harry that he was in her daily thoughts regardless of whether he was there or not. He was with her all the time and thats all that mattered. He might have been away for 3 years, but he was learning how to become an auror. Not that he couldn't fight off the bad guys on his own, but now it would be official. Her boyfriend that auror. She was so proud of him she could burst.
She paused out of her day dream for a moment and took a few sthingyfuls of her ice cream. It tasted so good but even here reminded her of him. They had a date here once. It was back before her 5th year of school. He was such a gentle wizard then. He paid for her ice cream to pulling out the chair for her. Then there were his kisses. Oh how she missed them. Three years without his kisses. Boy was he in for it when she saw him.
Then she heard someones voice behind her. didn't bother to order anything for me? How rude. She didn't bother to look around to see who it was. "Listen here buddy.." she started as she turned around to see Harry's face. " Harry!" she squealed and ran to wrap her arms around his neck. " Is it really you?" she asked with tears brimming her eyes. Tears of happiness. "I missed you so much, I can't believe this is real" she began and then she stopped herself.
" Well don't just stand there, kiss me alright Mr. Potter" she teased him with a giggle.

Harry couldn't help but snicker when Ginny didn't recognize his voice. She was about to get angry at her boyfriend without even realizing it. He had to hold back his laughter so she didn't realize. But she turned around and the joy on her face made him more happier. He had been the one to cause it and seeing her was a great happiness to him. He had missed her so much and had grabbed at every chance(which had been much) to write to her. His new owl, Demetrius, that he had bought before he left had turned out quite useful after he learned that he could write letters out. He had a certain day of the week for people he needed to write too. And Ginny was his main priority, then it Hermione next, then Mrs. Weasley, and so on.
Harry wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up. He was so glad to see her again. She has no idea how much he missed her, he thought. He grinned as he set her back down on her feet. "Now what were you going to say to me?" he smirked, laughing. He should have known that Ginny would have reacted that way. Well he was home now and she wouldn't be alone at night anymore.
"I've missed you too," he told her truthfully. "There hasn't been a day gone by that I haven't thought of you. Even when I was doing my auror tests which I did pass with outstandingly." He was quite proud of himself since he had spent the night before studying. Hermione would have disapproved of the way him and Ron had waited til the last minute to study. She would have been studying all week and forcing them to do the same. That was what Harry missed to when he was at the academy. He had missed Hermione's constant nagging for them to do their work and get to studying. He didn't realize how much he would miss it until it was gone.
He smiled as he leaned down and kissed Ginny softly on the lips. He pulled her closer. He had been waiting 3 years to do this again and now Ginny was back in his arms once more. He promised himself that he would never leave her again. Not unless the wizarding world was under attack but even then, he would never leave her. He would understand if she wished fight with him by his side and he wouldn't deny her that privilege.

After she had turned around to find that it was harry and after she had gotten over the initial joy of seeing him, she hit him on the arm. " Harry James Potter! How dare you give me such a freight!" she tried to scold him but it wasn't working. She loved him too much and was too happy for him to be home. Finally a night where she didn't have to sleep alone in their bed without him.
Sure she had gotten letters from him when he was gone. But letters weren't enough but that was all in the past. He was here with her now and she wasn't going to give him up for anything in the world. She loved him too much. She was going to lock him in their room and not let him out until she had enough of him.
She giggled when he asked her what she was gonna say to him. " I was gonna say listen here buddy I have an amazing boyfriend, who is big and strong and can kick your bloody arse" she said with a grin and another giggle. It was all fun and games now that he was back but she had to admit that she had to use that line before. Ever since he was gone, it seemed that Ginny had develeped even more into a woman and not a single wizard whose path she crossed would ever let her forget that.
She grinned and nodded. " That same for me. I missed you so much the other day Hermione was right behind me and had to call me several times." she admitted. " You see I was down by the lake thinking about our midnight date out on the lake, do you remember that?" she asked him hopeful. "You had insisted on taking me out on the lake so I wore my pajammas with the big jacket and a big blanket and we laid in the boat and talked all night?" she asked trying to jog his memory in case he forgot. " Well I was at the Black Lake thinking about that and ... well I guess I did that alot when you were gone. daydreamed" he said with a grin. So she was rambling so what. He would know that was her and she was just glad to have him back.
She smiled into the kiss. She didn't care about her ice cream anymore. And the heat generated between their bodies felt wonderful. " Lets go swimming" she said and winked at him before kissing him again. " Oh and when we go home will you please put better cooling charms on our room" she pleaded.

Harry gave a fake hurt look as she pounded him on the arm. He rubbed his arm like it had hurt. "Ouch, Gin," he joked. "You're a lot stronger than you think, you know?" He loved messing with her and it was something he missed while he was gone. He couldn't wait to see everyone else. He was glad to be back, be back in the normal world instead of behind those grey walls of the academy. He was really getting tired of the colorless place and the daily routine. He needed a change and this was just what he needed.
Harry laughed when Ginny told him what she was going to say. It was true though. Harry would kick anyone's arse who got too close to Ginny. He was the jealous type and could be a bit possesive. It was just in his nature. He hadn't liked seeing Ginny with all those guys before they dated. It had fueled him with this newfound anger where at that moment he just wished to tear that guys head off. Maybe that was a bit drastic but that was how he felt at the moment.
Harry nodded. Of course he remembered that moment. He would never forget about it. It was one of the memories he held so dear. "How could I ever forget about that night? I woke you up so late and just took you out. Ron was so mad the next morning when he found out," Harry laughed. He had been so lucky that Hermione was there to pull him away or Ron might have done something he would regret later. Another reason to be thankful for Hermione.
But at the thought of Hermione, his smile turned into a frown. Ginny had been talking to her. "Is she alright?" he asked. They hadn't really talked much besides the letters. And those were only updates on how her job was going and how is training was going. Nothing else was brought up. She never discusses how she was doing even though he asked her countless times in the letters. It was the one question she never seemed to answer. Maybe she told Ginny something that Harry was completely missing. He was never good at figuring out a girl's problems and feelings. It was part of the reason why him and Cho didn't last long. She made no sense to him.
Harry smiled when she said that she wanted to go swimming. He didn't care what they did as long as they got to spend time together. He missed her and wanted to be with her every minute now. He never wanted to let her go, never wanted to let her go out of his arms. He was afraid if he let go then she would disappear. He wouldn't let that happen. Then she mentioned their house. Oh he had almost forgotten.
He finally released her, ruffling his hair. How could he tell her this? "Umm...Gin, you see Ron needed a place to stay with all that happened between him and Mione you know and I sorta said he could stay with us if thas alright with you of course. But Ron didn't want to live at the Burrow and him and mione aren't well you know..." Harry smiled meekly at Ginny hoping that she would be alright with her overprotective older brother living in the same house as them. Ron was his best mate so how could he deny him a place to live.

Ginny laughed at his comment about her strength. " Oh don't be such a baby" she said with a grin. Sure she was strong but she knew that he was just teasing her. It was great to have him home and to be able to joke around like this again. She shook her head at him. " Always a jokster" she said with another grin.
She knew that Harry would want to see everyone now that he was home. And they would. But first she wanted to see him on her own. They could all wait another day. " I know you want to see everyone Harry, but do you think we could spend some time with just us tonight. Then we could go to my house tommorrow." she offered him hopeful. She would convince Hermione to come to the Burrow. If she knew that Harry was going to be there she would do it no matter how much she didn't want to see Ron who would obviously be there.
Ginny smiled as she saw Harry laugh. It was good to see that rather than to just imagine it. She remembered the time when he got mad that she was going out with a guy before they even started to date. She couldn't even remember the guy's name anymore. But that was the first night she told him that she loved him, then she kissed him and slapped him before going out on her date. Then when she got home it was only worse. She was drunk and babbling. At least that was all in the past and even if he did regard her possesively she didn't mind because she only wanted to be with him and she regarded him the same.
Ginny smiled when he said that he remembered that night. She was glad that he did. That night meant so much to her. She could still remember his owl Hedwig who was so darn persistant on waking her up with a note. Then she went down to meet him and off they went with the surprise date for them. Oh her brother was mad. "Yeah but that's only because you thought of something like that first for me before he could with Hermione" she beamed. " Besides I put him in his place right away" she told him with a grin.
She nodded at his questions about Hermione. " Speaking of her, uh she's dating someone else now. But I'm not sure its a good idea to let Ron know." she began. " Its Vicktor Krum" she began. " Loads of other things have happened since you were gone too. Hermione is civil with Draco, the Aurors are stationed at different places beause they think a few rebellion death eaters might be on the move, and there is a new headmistress"' she told him making sure no one could hear them. " But Hermione is still working hard, but she uhh drinks a bit now" she said worried. " she still loves him but won't admit it" she said honestly.
She smiled once he smiled again. " Maybe if your good I'll even put on that bikini that you love" she said and reached up and kissed him again. She could tease him all she wanted but he knew that she wouldn't shag hiim until after they were married if he was going to wait for that. And if not he could have any of the groupies that he had. But she knew that Harry loved her and was more than willing to wait for her. That made her love him even more if that was possible.
Ginny looked at him once he released her. Had she said something wrong. Then he hesitated. She cut him off. " You didn't find someone else did you?" She asked worried as tears brimmed her eyes at the thought. Then she heard him finish. She relaxed. It was only Ron. " Yes thats fine" she said with a small smile. As long as she got to be with Harry she didn't care. " I still get to sleep in our bed right?" she asked worried. Ron would just have to deal and if she had to she would put a silencing charm on his mouth.

Harry nodded with a smile. "That beach is looking pretty good right now, you know?" he grinned. "I hope you still have that red bikini of yours that I like so much." He was all smiles today now that he was back. He was glad to see Ginny again after being gone so long. He really didn't want to be gone that long again or it would just kill him even more. It had been so hard to get along at the academy and actually focus. His mind would sometimes drift to Ginny when he was suppose to be listening and taking notes.
Harry could still remember that night. He had sent Hedwig over to her dorm and then when they got back, Ron was standing in the common room waiting with Hermione desperately trying to get him to go back to bed. Harry could still remember the fear going through him seeing Ron that angry and he had gulped when he entered the common room. But he was so surprise when Ginny stepped up and put him down. "I'll never forget the expression on his face," Harry laughed. That shocked expression as Hermione finally dragged him away back to the dorm. That was one of the funniest memories he still kept. He never wanted to forget that night.
Harry wore a grim expression on his face, unhappy with the news of Hermione. Apparently she wasn't alright for she was drinking away Ron. It was so un-Hermioneish for her to do that but I guess one guy could throw someone of the edge. But how far if she was actually civil with Draco? "And how do you know all of this stuff about Hermione? Are you sure she's really civil with Malfoy?" he asked her, giving her a questioning look. None of this sounded like Hermione.
And then Ron was going throw a fit once he learned about Hermione dating Viktor. It sounded like Hermione had changed so much while he was gone. She was successful like he thought she would be. He never doubted that but the way she ran the rest of her life was so not her. This was all Ron's deal though. Harry didn't want to get in the middle of the two's arguing at the moment. Well most of this was Ron's fault. Maybe he shouldn't have told her to move on and to date others. He wished that his best friends could be happy for once instead of living their life in unhappy. They had gone through so much already.
Harry couldn't help but put on a huge smile. "I certainly don't mind going to the beach now," he chuckled. He would never force Ginny into anything. He would wait until she was ready and he knew that she wanted to wait til they were married. Harry agreed and understood. He would never make Ginny do anything she didn't want to.
Harry nodded his head. "Of course you can still sleep in the same bed with me. Just because Ron is in the house doesn't change anything. It's my house and he's my guest," Harry told her, smiling. "He's just going to get over it and fight for Hermione. And make everything right so he could move back out. Or he could just find a flat of his own and dream that Mione was in it." Harry laughed, a twinkle in his eyes.
